Luxury wooden tealight holder finely crafted from reclaimed oak and silver, featuring a leaf skeleton motif.
I create the beautiful leaf skeleton imprint on a square piece of tarnish resistant Argentium Silver. The leaf skeleton design is then oxidised (blackened) and surface of the silver given a brushed silver matt finish to make the intricate detail stand out clearly. The silver leaf is attached to this wood candle holder, which is handmade locally in Church Gresley, Swadlincote, from reclaimed oak.
This delightful candleholder could adorn a mantelpiece or dining table at Christmas. It would make a thoughtful gift for someone who loves plants such as a gardener or florist. It is also lovely idea for a 5th wedding anniversary gift for which it is traditional to give something made of wood or a 25th silver wedding anniversary gift for which it is traditional to give something made of silver.
The Argentium silver is Hallmarked with my Louise Mary ‘LM’ makers mark by Birmingham Assay Office.
This oak and argentium silver candle holder will arrive beautifully packaged in a recycled card gift box, tied with ribbon.
Each piece is carefully hand crafted using traditional techniques in my jewellery and silversmithing studio in South Derbyshire, England.
These candle holders can be ordered individually and in pairs, and you can request that the two 'leaves' mirror image each other.
Reclaimed Oak (finished with bri-wax), argentium silver, glass liner (glass liner can be removed for easy cleaning.) 1 white tealight included.
